These two objects are inspired by the Daytimer watch by Alessi, designed by Will Alsop and Federico Grazzini, whom are both architects. As an object, I am interested in the geometric and the asymmetrical design elements of the watch. The wall clock is closely designed to the watch with its motion sensor activated features and an easy-to-read OLED display. When the clock is not displaying the time, it is designed to be a decorative wall piece. The wall mounted catch-all piece is too inspired by the geometric elements, taking the triangles that make up the design elements of the watch. Creating this wall piece as both a decorative element and a catch all for keys, wallets, as well an intuitive coat rack.
