Ir + a + Infinitive

What does it mean?

• Ir + a + infinitive- to go to (action)• Use this when saying what you or somebody is

going to do.• Examples: Voy a correr .(I am going to run)• Va a tomar agua.• Van a nadar.• Vas a usar el baño.

What form of Ir do I use?

• “Tener que” is how to say “To have to (do something)”

• When using “Tener que”:1) conjugate “Tener”2) add an infinitive to say what one has to do

• He has to sleep.
