Epic for Mac

Install Citrix Receiver

To access Epic on your Mac, you must download the Citrix for Mac receiver by visiting http://receiver.citrix.com.

Please Note: To access Epic, you must be connected to the LUMC network. If you are attempting to access Epic from your home computer (non LUMC network), please reference the FirePass for Mac instructions.

Click the Download Receiver for Mac button.

The Citrix Receiver application will begin to download.

Navigate to the Downloads folder on your Mac and double click CitrixReceiverWeb.dmg to begin the installation.

Double click the Install Citrix Receiver option.

Follow the install instructions by clicking the Continue button.

During the setup process, you will be prompted to agree to the terms and conditions of the software license. Click Agree to continue.

To install the Citrix Receiver app to your Applications folder, enter in your admin Name and Password for your Mac, and click Install Software.

Upon successful installation, you will receive a confirmation message.

Launching Epic

Once the Citrix Receiver is installed, you are ready to access Epic. Visit http://emr.lumc.edu/ and select the Hyperspace Production link.

Please Note: Please consider making the Hyperspace Production link a bookmark as you will need to visit the link in order to access Epic.

Use your assigned Epic User ID and Password to access the application.
