Aims:• To identify and exploit the synergies between existing learner
experience projects.• Build capacity for undertaking learner experience research
What is ELESIG?• Launched in 2008• Over 2000 members• 6 local groups• Organising committee
What is ELESIG?• ELESIG is a community of researchers and practitioners from higher
and further education who are involved in investigations of learners' experiences and uses of technology in learning. • ELESIG members work together to share knowledge and practice and
develop a shared repertoire of resources which will be of benefit to the community and the sector.
What do ELESIG members do?• Communicate / stay in touch with the field of learners’ experiences of
e-learning• Disseminate in an informal, friendly setting• Find out about advances in methodology• Gain feedback on their own research projects from colleagues• Network with other researchers
