Electric Cars and Battery Technology

Electric cars may potentially see a boost in the efficiency of their batteries in the near

future.

It seems a lot of technical superiority comes from Israel.

When nuclear technology comes to mind, I think of Albert Einstein.

While not native to Israel, the individual counted himself as a Jew, and he had even rejected the offer of the Presidency to the

state of Israel.

The original creator of Star Wars, George Lucas, also considers himself a Jew.

That means he has, at least, religious ties to Israel.

A new company, going by the name StoreDot, also hails from the nation, and it

appears it may revolutionize the battery industry.

Modern Electric Cars

The most expensive electric cars of 2015 can travel about 260 miles or less per a full re-

charge.

The arrival of hybrids helped keep a healthy balance between re-charging and fueling.

Modern technology incorporates a method of re-charging while the wheels move.

This feature roughly doubled the miles per gallon ratio of new vehicles that relied on

liquid fuel.

Thus, the hybrids offer a lucrative advantage for commutes.

The Potential of Electric Cars in the Future

StoreDot claims that it can increase the effectiveness of batteries by roughly 50%.

Not only will the energy capacity increase, but re-charging the batteries can potentially reach a reduction to a meager five minutes.

Samsung has taken a strong interest in the company.

That organization and others have invested $18 million into the development of the

technical mechanics behind the techniques.

StoreDot also produces its technology for cell phones, not just for electric cars.

The budding Israel business offers a longer life span of batteries in both markets.

Instead of an Android or iPhone requiring one to three hours to reach a full charge, the process would instead capture only a minute

or two of an owner’s time.

As of 2015, Apple still uses some Samsung parts in its fantastic iPhone series.

Eventually, Apple will gather enough function to have a slice of StoreDot’s

offerings.

That facet may require dealing with Samsung.

Regardless, the benefit would reach Apple eventually.

Time will tell.

So overall, the assets incorporated by StoreDot in its activity with batteries include the following: longer lasting, faster charging, and, finally, smaller sized intended devices.

The technology’s core involves using peptides as miniature capacitors.

The action occurs on a very tiny scale, reacting on a nano level.

Out of the electric cars available, a single choice will display the constructions at work during a show within Israel in the year 2016.
