To identify and inspect EIFS, also called synthetic stucco, you need to understand how it is to be correctly installed with emphasis on the details of the attachments, penetrations and terminations. In this course you will learn the difference between synthetic stucco and real stucco and how each is to be installed. You will learn the problems found with synthetic stucco and how to identify them. We will show you an inspection procedure and checklist for inspecting EFIS. And we will cover how to report your findings.
