•Department completes requisition and sends it for appropriate approvals

•Approved requisition comes to HRS and Recruiter enters the job opening into erecruit.

•Recruiter works with Hiring Manager to develop screening questions/preferred qualifications

•Vacancy announcement posts on HRS website and MyHR>Careers for a defined posting period.

•Applicants apply online for posted jobs.•Recruiters screen applications (staff only)•Hiring Manager can review all qualified applicants

(staff)/all applicants (academic) in eRecruit. Recruiter can screen for minimum or preferred qualifications.

•Hiring Manager/Search Committee determines who to interview and conducts interviews. Interview evaluations are completed in eRecruit.

•Hiring Manager/Search Committee selects final candidate.

Job Offer

•Hiring Manager enters job offer information in eRecruit. Can link the job offer letter if appropriate.

•Hiring Manager submits job offer for approval.•Offer reviewed and approved by the necessary

approvers•Hiring Manager extends job offer.

•Candidate returns CBC release.•Candidate completes POET (if applicable).•HR changes candidate status to prepare for hire.•Hiring Manager provides additional information for

hire/transfer.•Candidate completes applicable onboarding
