• Instagram wildly popular – Becoming cooler than Twitter
• Anonymous Apps are very popular, especially with cyber bullies

– Can take place in person via cellphone, computer or other electronic means

– Threat
– Assault
– Verbal, written or physical abuse

• A student receives an inappropriate image they did not ask for
• Student is cyberbullied
• Someone hacks your kid’s social media account

• Cannot use telecommunications device to harass
• Whoever violates this section is guilty of telecommunications harassment.
• A violation of division (A)(1), (2), (3), or (5) or (B) of this section is a misdemeanor of the first degree on a first offense and a felony of the fifth degree on each subsequent offense.
