Tuesday “A” Week –Whole class lesson using Basal reading story- read and work with comp. strategy with

that story. 10 mins. of reading time, check SOC

Wednesday “A” Week – Whole class/individual work on strategy. 15-20 mins of reading time. Check SOC (last 5

mins. Kids can booktalk and add to “10 Spot.”)

Thursday “A” Week Kids either begin comp. strategy with novels or continue with leveled books. Check SOC

Friday “A” Week Work with leveled books or novels.

“B” WeekWeekMonday “B” Week – Optional teacher booktalks,

vocabulary lesson, reteach “A” week comprehension lesson as needed. Check SOC
