HELLO FROM YOUR LTG
Hello Division 28!The days I get to spend with the greatest division of all time are numbered and I wanted to take this time to thank you guys for what you’ve done for me in the last 3 months. From your outstanding attendance at the DCMs and your up-to-date responses from the officers, the experience of being your Lieutenant Governor was pretty much a dream job. This being said, I can’t wait for the future of Division 28 as the PNW continues to expand in membership and spirit. With the end of school nearing, I hope all of you guys have a greatsummer planned and even then, don’t hesitate to contact me for any reason! I’d like to think I still have a little purpose in the division.

SUGGESTED ATTIRE:If anyone has Eliminate gear, wear it !
CELEBRATING THE YEAR ANGELA SHI: Fav Key Club Memory: meeting so many awesome new people that love community service as much as you do!!
AKA DTEAnd DCON!!!!!!!!!
SARA REED: At my first DCM there was a pie. I really wanted some but there was no knife. I started cutting it with the back of a fork. Someone was standing above me and I looked up and said, "if you have a better idea let me know." The guy standing above me said, "no no I'm not judging you!!" I introduced myself to the guy who ended up being Nathan Nishi. I later found out HE was the one who had brought the pie. Glad to have made such a great friend like him this year
JESSICA MA : Hey Cyssi! My favorite memory this year is the Seahawks 5K run because not only did I get in my exercise while running the gear check, I also made a lot of new friends from other schools!
JENNA LIANG: Myfavorite Key Clubmoment has got to bewhen I was able to see the future leaders of Division 28. I am honestly so proud of both you and Adam, and I know for sure that the future of Division 28 is in good hands. I'm also so blessed to be able to part of this wonderful division. With the numerous support from every during my term, I honestly would not have wanted to be with any other division.
JULIA CHEN: I joined key club because of FAMILY
JESSICA HE: My favorite key club memory from this year was meeting fellow Canadians at DCON smile emoticon
JASMINE LOUIE: Through Key Club, I have experienced the benefits of community service by working with local organizations and charities. I have also been given the opportunity to bond with the best people at events including DCM's and DCON! I feel honored to be a part of the extensive Key Club community that continues to embrace service and spirit!
SUVIR COPPARAM: So I followed a friend to my first meeting because I wanted to get a ride home from school from him but he had to go to key Club first. And then I actually met a lot of people who were kind and caring of everyone for the first time in high school so I joined key Club too. And over the years it has been the kindness and inclusiveness of others that continues to inspire me to stay in key Club.
ERIKA KUMAR: My favorite Key Club memory was looking out on the dance floor at DTE and being proud that I was able to make 100 other people happy. It reminded me why I do community service: to bring joy to others.
AIDAN WANG: I love key club because it gives young people a chance to be involved in and give back to the community and to interact with people from different backgrounds.
THE YEAR KACEY HIGA: My key club story/memory: Even though I've been to two different schools, both key clubs I've been involved in helped me feel like I belong and have a mini family:) And one thing I will never forget from this year is volunteering at Relay for Life because I became closer to our board!
NATHAN NISHI: Key Club is important to me, because besides the service aspect, I've formed really close friendships with people that I otherwise wouldn't have met
ZACK LUI: Best key club memory: winning the spirit stick at seattle rally 2 years ago
MEGAN LEE: The best day I had this year was the day of the December DCM. During the 6 hour shift, I had a chance to connect with some members that I hadn't conversed with much before, as well as some adults volunteering there. I felt so inspired by their passion for service even though they lived incredibly busy lives - it also got me thinking about how I would continue giving back to my community after high school. After the volunteer activity, our club had a blast in Chinatown trying to find gifts for the DCM and getting bubble tea! During the PCM and DCM I felt more connected as a division. Talking with key clubbers opened my eyes to new ways to improve our club and also helped me become more confident and outgoing when trying to make friends at DCMs. What made me really happy was seeing how much more comfortable the members were around each other after the long day and how service can bring so many different types of people together
ADAM NEWTON:
JACQUE LI: My favorite memory is from jingle bell run my sophomore year, no one else from MI was there helping with packet pick up the day before the event so I was kind of on my own. But then I met some people from division 26 that were so unbelievably nice and friendly to me - we were complete strangers - and it made me realize that key club was not just a club, it was a huge community. That moment really helped me understand what it meant to be a key clubber and is still one of my absolute favorite projects yet because it was the first time I had met other key clubber said during a project.
ANDES LI: Pieing Adam! Hah
CYSSI NGO: My favorite memory was DCON freshmen year. Although I stayed pretty involved with Key Club, it wasn’t until that event that I began to take advantage of not only the community service but also the great people in this club. That event really opened my eyes to the unique spirit of Key Club and I’m so glad Jenna convinced me to go
Congrats to all our seniors! You’ve played an important role and we only wish to continue the legacy !
In the midst of serene nature and fluctuating weather
conditions lies the great Pacific Northwest District (PNW). The
Pacific Northwest is geographically the largest district of Key
Club International. The district spans from western Canada to
northern California; with Alaska, Washington, Oregon, and
the pan-handle of Idaho in between. The Pacific Northwest
encompasses nearly 1.8 million square miles and includes
over 300 clubs that operate under 44 divisions. Through rain
or shine, snow or hail, Key Clubbers in the PNW dedicate
countless hours to their communities and international, and
we are always Proud ‘N’ Willing to serve!
ELIMINATE WEEKEvery child deserves to be healthy and
happy. This Eliminate Week, celebrate the children in your life and
do something for the Eliminate Project. All it takes is US$1.80 to save a mother and all of her future babies from maternal and neonatal tetanus.
• 1 baby dies every 11 minutes• $1.80 is enough to save a mother and her future
babies • 160 babies die from MNT each day • A series of three shots of vaccine = immunity to
tetanus
