Diet

The rattlesnake eats lizards, gophers, mice, and rabbits.

Predators

The rattlesnake predators are hawks, coyotes, roadrunners, eagles, bobcats, and king snakes.

Description

The rattlesnake continues to grow bigger and its color is yellow, brown, and black.

Cool Facts

There is even a rattlesnake without a rattle.

Diet

The Fennec Fox eats plants, small rodents, small animals, meat, birds, eggs, lizards, and insects.

Predators

The Fennec Fox is hunted by vultures, hyenas, and jackals. It sees its enemies with its large eyes.

Description

It is from 14 to 17 inches long.

It has sand colored fur.

It has very large ears.It has large black eyes.Its ears hear from long ways.

A Gila monster is a meat eater. It eats frogs, rats, mice, birds, lizards and eggs.

Man uses them as pets. Its color helps it hide in the sand.

Description

The Gila Monster is 18 to 24 inches long and is pink and yellow.

This lizard can live for months without food.

A Jack Rabbit eats grasses, herbs and leaves, bark and twigs.

Predators

The predators are dogs, foxes and raccoons, weasels and bob cats, lynxes and hawks, eagles and people. They run very fast.

Description

The rabbit is brown white and black. They have fur. They have big eyes and they have a short tail and very big ears.

A Jack Rabbit lives for about a year.

When disturbed by predators, horned lizards occasionally squirt blood from their eyes for distances of up to 2-3 feet.

The Desert Tortoise is scared of the coyotes and it hides in the shell.
