New Book Group Sheila and Richard Every want to form a couples fiction book club.An evening of light-hearted and good-natured discussion that will meet the third Wednesday of every other month from 18:30-20:00.

First book is "Major Pettigrew's Last Stand" by Helen Simonson published last year and available at amazon for as little as .01! If you don't manage to finish the book, come along and discuss what you've read.

The maximum number of members is 6 couples. If there is greater interest, we'll rent a larger room!

Matinee performance of BIRDSONG - Thursday, 28 February 2013.

The coach will leave Oaklands at 11:00 with time for lunch/stroll by the river/window shopping etc. before the matinee performance at 2:30. We anticipate leaving the Theatre at approximately 5:30, arriving back in Chichester around 6:30 - 6:45 pm. Sebastian Faulks’s BIRDSONG. Adapted by Rachel Wagstaff, directed by Alastair Whatley - "Captures both the pain and the pity of a war that almost defies comprehension"**** The Guardian.

Cost of the coach and theatre ticket is £30.00 per person.(name and telephone number on reverse of cheque), and send to Avril Konrad, April Cottage, Chestnut Avenue, Chichester PO19 5QE. Bookings must be received by Thursday, 3 January, 2013, at the very latest in order to meet the deadline set by the Theatre.Unfortunately, bookings accompanied by cheques received after this date cannot be included.
