JABADAOLook out for JaBaDaO, a very popular activity for children. it’s lots
of fun and parents are encouraged to join in!
Developmental Movement Play (DMP) is a new play-based way of supporting youngchildren’s development through movement. It draws on existing theories about the linksbetween movement and the development of the brain and nervous system, explainingwhy movement is such an important part of young children’s lives and following the ideaof the value of child-led play.
It aims to support children’s natural desire to move – and move freely – helping adults tosee that, in our increasingly sedentary culture, we often get in children’s way, unwittingly
undermining a natural and important developmental process.
All children need to experience free movement to allow them to grow and develop. JABADAO isdevelopmental movement play that encourages free movement and shows the positive impactit can have on your child.

of the EYFS and Children’s Centre team.
We have been asked to run another session on
the Self Evaluation Form, on Tuesday, 28th
