Objectives To extend the benefits of DEI’s

Mode of Distance Education Blended education with a mix of traditional instruction and
e-education Unique system with tutorial classes held at Study Centres 3
hours a day, six days a week over 15 working weeks in a semester
Videos, live and web-based lessons• In Semi-synchronous mode, recorded video lectures played for
class• In Synchronous or Live mode, lectures broadcast live, in video
conferencing mode from D.E.I. through EDUSAT, internet-based video streaming and lease lines

Job Fair Overview• DEI DEP Job Fair is an initiative by Alumni Association of DEI
(AADEIs) to help the Distance Education students with their Placements
• In a Job Fair 35 – 40 companies and over 800 students are brought under one roof over 2 Days and is a Win – Win as:– Companies get to see a wide variety of Students and decide to pick the ones
which fit their Organization the best– Students get to interview with a wide range of companies and have their pick on
the profiles which best suit their needs
• Job Fair as a concept was kicked off in 2011 and has been happening for the last 3 years with exceptional results– Placements over the last 3 years have been 90%+– Reviews by Companies have been – Excellent and is reflected by their readiness
to be part of this initiative Year on Year
This is a “Voluntary Initiative” by the Alumni of DEI and there are “No Commercials” involved
