Dance and Movement
• What is the difference between everyday movements and dance?

Dance has 3 main purposes:
• ceremonial (religion, celebration, ritual),
• recreational (folk, social dancing, aerobic dance), and
• artistic (ballet, modern, narrative, tap, lyrical).
