6.When he was the age of ten his parents got him an apprenticeship under Francisco Pacheco.

7.At the age of 18 he married Juana.

8.He had two daughters

9.the younger Ignacia de Silva Velazquez y Pacheco and she died in infancy. 10.Then he had another daughter Francisca de Silva Velazquez y Pacheco
