We began this course by learning how to make web
pages using html as shown in the basic home page that we
made.
Desktop Publishing with MS Word
We learned about file structures and advanced features of MS Word.
Presentation of Information with MS PowerPoint
Data Analysis and Visualization with MS Excel
Visual Programming with Alice
We learned basic programming in Alice to create short animations.
Dynamic Webpage Programming with JavaScript
We took what we learned about both HTML and JavaScript and used it to create an attractive interactive page.
Course Overview
For non-Engineering majors. Information
Technology (IT) fluency including proficiency with certain computer
applications, principles on which you can build new
understanding as IT evolves, high-level
reasoning and IT problem solving, and basic web
programming (HTML/XHTML).
