Main reason behind this problem is low literacy level and lack of financial status among women.

SEXUAL ASSAULTHarassment at workplace by fellow

colleagues has become so common that it has triggered women not to take job especially in MNC’s.

Ego factor plays a very important role in encouraging sexual assault.

Low level of women representation in big companies triggers the percentage of sexual assault cases.

Honor killing These type of cases have mostly been

seen in rural India where biasing between communities still exists.

Khap panchayats are the reason behind honor killings.

Vote bank politics of politicians stop them from taking action against these panchayats.

Rehabilitation of victim after the crime should be the priority.

Making and implementing laws to combat rising percentage of crime against women.

Capital punishment should be awarded to the accused.

Faster judicial process is another way through which crimes can be stopped EFFECTIVELY.

CONCLUSIONViolence against women and girls continues

in every continent, country and culture. It takes a devastating toll on women’s lives, on their families, and on society as a whole. Most societies prohibit such violence — yet the reality is that too often, it is covered up or tacitly condoned. We society as a whole need to tackle it because we never know when our own family member may get caught by this evil crime.
