Introduction Stress is a natural response to events that the mind

considers as threat in order to maintain focus during emergencies. However, stress beyond a limit affects your health and productivity and takes a toll on your personal and social life. Chronic stress can lead to memory problems, poor judgment and eating disorders.

Handling Stress can be handled by avoiding, altering, adapting and

accepting the stressful situation. Avoid Interruptions in a workplace.

Altering your space The key idea behind alteration is to put yourself in the

comfort zone. You may personalize your  by bringing items such as photographs, inspiring artwork, small toys or decorative accessories to your desk.

You may change the color of the area to something intellectually stimulating such as yellow or green.

Adapting to the Situation If changing your environment to suit your needs doesn’t

work, you can try the opposite. Try changing yourself to see whether you can adapt to the stressful situations. You should stop getting anxious about changing technology or organizational patterns.

Acceptance If nothing can be done about the situation, then it is better to

accept it as it is. It is pointless to fight a situation if there is nothing you can do about it.

Proper Diet and Sleep In addition to the four aspects mentioned above, you can

counteract stress by taking proper diet and getting enough sleep.

Personality Development Become an optimistic person who embraces stress as a

challenge to improve further.
