○ Choose carefully. Use Grade 9 marks as part of the decision making, and ensure you are giving yourself the best chance to have a strong foundation for your Grade 10 courses

○ Ask your subject Teacher about what pathway they would recommend for you

○ If you still have questions, speak with a counsellor to consider different combinations and pathways

BusinessHealth and Wellness

What is SHSM?- A specialized program for students who

are “pretty sure” they want to pursue a certain sector for employment/education

- Helps you plan and understand life after graduation, no matter which pathway you decide to take (apprenticeship training, college, university or the workplace)

◦ To receive a SHSM certificate, students must:▫ Enroll in co-op in grade 11 or 12 for sector-specific

specific courses (courses you would probably take anyway)
