Prompt: Resources have a huge impact on the countries of Southwest Asia. Southwest Asia has more than half of the world’s oil, however, oil is a nonrenewable resource. How does having an abundance (a lot) of oil impact places like the cities of Dubai and Masdar?

Dubai, like many cities in Southwest Asia, is located in the desert. Thinking about what happened to the Aral Sea, how might water impact the future of these countries? How can countries continue to use all of their resources in a way that is sustainable for the future?
