How it Works

CADEROCK TESTING RESULT• Recommendations• In accelerated corrosion testing Rust Grip provided superior performance

on minimally prepared steel specimens at the 40 cycle evaluation period compared to Wash Primer. Based on the results of this research it is recommended that Rust Grip be approved for use on USMC vehicles and added to the TM4795-OR/1 as an alternative pre-treatment in the CARC coating system on minimally prepared steel substrates when proper surface preparation cannot be accomplished.17 The accelerated corrosion testing results are expected to equate to six months of field exposure, therefore the use of Rust Grip as an alternative pre-treatment should be

• Reacts with “Zinc Rich Primers”, but not galvanized or zinc-alum metals.

• Only comes in silver color

• Certain surfaces may require a brush off blast [SA1], Pack Rust and Scale must be removed.
