Welcome to Beaver Ridge United Methodist
Church. It is our desire to make this a place
where you will feel the presence of God and
experience friendships, support, and God’s
purpose for your life.
If this is your first time here, we hope you
will consider making us your church home.

THE LORD’S PRAYER
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.

HOPE Prayer Vigil
South Sudan is in crisis - five years after becoming the
newest nation of the world. The human condition is deteri-
orating. There is no food or medicines coming into the
country and they are looking at massive famine. And, the
fighting continues. A Holston Conference Day of Prayer for
South Sudan will be held on September 1st. For twenty-four
hours, Holston will join the people of South Sudan in pray-
ing together for hope and peace in a war-torn, poverty
stricken country. The Oak Ridge District is asked to join this
prayer vigil specifically between the hours of 9:00-10:00am
and 9:00-10:00pm. Please take a moment during these
hours on Thursday to pray for the people of South Sudan.
