How does it aid a Company if they
use Facebook and or Twitter?By James Bennett
• I think small companies should use Twitter and or
Facebook to boost their publicity because it gives them a
chance to receive feedback from customers, update
customers on news or a new item coming in or back in to
stock.
Communication
• It is a way to communicate with customers and to also
take their feedback into consideration. It is a way to boost
their popularity and their publicity. Also you can promote
advertisement and jobs that need to be filled. With a
correct amount of ‘Tweets’ you can show yourself off as a
very knowledgeable person in your field of work. You can
also talk directly to customers so they fell that you’re a
business that cares about their customers.
Recruitment
• Business can use Twitter as a way of promoting job
vacancies. It is also a way to see what the person is like if
they do apply for a job over twitter. It gives the company
a way to find out what the person is like and to see if
what they say is true when they are promoting themselves
to the company as a potential candidate for the job.
Advertisement
• On Twitter you can post to all your followers. If you are a
small business this then allows you to post updates of
incoming stock and possibly items coming back into
stock. As long as you post regularly about your business
you will most probably receive more customer. Also
because a lot of young people use Twitter you can widen
your audience.
