There are 900 students in the secondary school from Year 7 to Year 11. This is compulsory for students aged 11-16 to attend.There are 100 students in our Sixth Form (also called Post-16). We are a specialist school. In the UK, schools can apply to become specialist schools. We are a Business & Enterprise specialist school.
As a Business & Enterprise school, we offer special courses in ICT and Business.
We are also a Microsoft Academy and we train adults in computer hardware and software. The students also have an opportunity to get training in Microsoft Windows and Office Our school specialism
Our school uniform
We have a different uniform for our students in Year 7-9 and Year 10/11. Students study from age 11-14 (Year 7-9)Core: English, Mathematics, Science and ICT.Foundation: History, Geography, Religious Education and Citizenship, Technology, Art & Design, Physical Education, Modern foreign Languages, Drama, Music, Business studies and ICT.
Students study from age 14-16 (Year 10 & 11)Compulsory: English, Mathematics, Science, ICT, Physical Education, Religious Education and Citizenship.They may then choose to study 2/3 other Subjects.History, Geography, Technology, Art, French, Spanish, Child Care, Health & Social Care, Business Studies, Performing Arts, Leisure & Tourism, Hairdressing & Beauty, Construction, and Catering.
