To finish the program, students will complete a final Career Catalyst course in the semester they intend to graduate. Once a student has completed the introductory course, an activity from each area, and is registered for the final Career Catalyst course, he/she will receive a Career Catalyst certificate.

Career Catalyst

At the UALR College of Business, we are proud of our high-level coursework taught within the classroom – but we are even more proud of the life skills we teach each student through our Career Catalyst program.

This co-curricular program equips students with the full spectrum of skills they will need for a successful career. Through career and leadership development activities, experiential learning, service projects and contact with the business community, students

will apply what they learn in the classroom in real-world settings. By taking advantage of these hands-on activities and opportunities, students graduate from the UALR College of Business with an impressive portfolio of skills. In fact, many businesspeople do not acquire these skills until long after they have entered the workforce.

Students begin the Career Catalyst program by registering for Introduction to Career Catalyst as soon as they declare a business major. After finishing the introductory course, students must complete one activity from each of these program areas before graduation:
