The Word of God is ALIVE and ACTIVE so that goesfor the words spoken thousands of years ago(If not, we would also not be saved today!)
We are saved because Jesus said This is myblood...which will be shed for all so that sins maybe forgiven which is another eternal truth!
The Priest in a Holy Mass is taking on the roleof Jesus as he reads the scripture.

Have you considered that the words of Jesus, Do thisin memory of memight mean Don't forget what I'vedone for youand yet His words prior to this are true?
Wouldn't it be powerful if, when any Christians metin each others homes, to break bread and share alittle wine specifically to remember their Saviour,
together, not simply waiting for Sunday?
