  • 8/6/2019 Catholic Communion - In Simple Biblical Steps

    16/25

Jesus said the bread was His Body and thewine was His blood.

Jesus is God, the son and the Word of God.

The Word of God is ALIVE and ACTIVE so that goesfor the words spoken thousands of years ago(If not, we would also not be saved today!)

We are saved because Jesus said This is myblood...which will be shed for all so that sins maybe forgiven which is another eternal truth!

The Priest in a Holy Mass is taking on the roleof Jesus as he reads the scripture.

Wouldn't it be powerful if, when any Christians metin each others homes, to break bread and share alittle wine specifically to remember their Saviour,

together, not simply waiting for Sunday?
