4. Community Service• Conduct community service projects that reinforce your ‘Brand’
• Okay to have several short but need to have at least one or two service entries which show long term commitment
• Community service hour forms must include:

Signature of the person who has signed off on your hours AND their phone number or email address
• Make a digital or a hard copy of each community service form you submit and file it. Creating your resume is really easy when you have these copies!

Nemours Specialty Care Center: 102 hours. Responsible for welcoming
the patients and offering comfort during the check-in process. (11th and 12th
grade).
Fame- 80 hours- A group of high school students with parental assistance
arrange a free health care clinic to impoverished individuals. The care
assists in early detection of illnesses and decreases the visits to the
emergency room. We provide medicine at a reduced cost and help them
receive long-term medication via Medicare. (9th-12th Grade)
SOUPer Bowl – 12 hours – Volunteered as a greeter, set up and break
down of tables. (11th-12th Grade).
Beach Clean Up- 10 hours- The International Baccalaureate Freshman
and Sophomore service project. We group into small groups and clean a
designated mile of the beach. (9th and 10th grade)

• Assume the reader is unfamiliar with your school and accolades.
• Save it as a word document
• Update your resume every semester. Doing so will enable you to stay current and accurate.
• Get involved doing something you love!!
• If you can’t find a club that includes your interests, create one!
