Dosing Options

Dosing Options - Dosatron

• Why Dosatron?• Cheap, consistent chemical dosing, even with flow and pressure fluctuations• No data logging necessary• No electricity• Easy Maintenance

• Plumb into existing process water line and select desired chemical dosing ratio on handle• Place suction line into jug, drum, or tote• Uses water pressure to siphon chemical

• Requirements• Up to 14 gpm process water

• New models can do up to 40 gpm and 400 gpm

• Up to 85 PSI• 1:500 – 1:50 ratio• Several different systems

• “Dumb” system• No Data logging or controller/probe control• A controller and probe or flow meter can be added

• Price – ~$850

Dosing Options – Dosatron Continued

Dosing Options – MDS

• What and Why?

• Dose chemical based off process water flow rate

• Pulse signal

• Plumb a flow meter and injection line into process water line

• Flow and pressure requirements

• Up to any desired process water flow rate

• Up to 363 PSI depending on pump liquid end

• “Dumb” system

• No Data logging or controller/probe control

• More versatile than Dosatron

• Price – ~$5,000 with pump

Dosing Options – MDS Continued

Dosing Options - Prominent Controllers

• If data collection is required or a probe is needed, a controller will be required

• Aegis and DACb

• Dose by probe or process water flow

• Can handle four (4) pumps and seven (7) probes

• The Aegis offers remote login capabilities• Limited report functionality • Limited graph trending• USB data collection

• Requirements• 120 V electricity• Ethernet connectivity (if customer wants

remote login capabilities)

• Price:• Aegis = ~$2,000• DACb = ~$3,300

Dosing Options – MDS+• For more advanced data collection, data reporting, and customization, a MDS+/BioBuster is required

• Dose by probe or process water flow• Flow meter based dosing• Probe based dosing

• Smart Spray Bar

• Inputs vs Outputs• Input is a device sending a signal to the MDS+/BioBuster. Probe, flow meter, etc.

• Output is a device that is being controlled by the MDS+/BioBuster. Pump• Pumps are both an input and output because they send and receive a signal from the MDS+/BioBuster • Standard system handles ten (10) inputs and two (2) Outputs• We can make custom systems for an increased cost

• Remote Capabilities• BioSafe Cloud Services (BCS)

• Data historian• Desktop and mobile access

• Requirements• 120 V electricity• Ethernet connectivity (if customer wants remote login and report capabilities)

• Can use 4G LTE card – add $240 plus monthly data plan cost

• Can use WIFI Card – add $210

• Price: ~$10,000 with pump

Dosing Options – MDS+ Continued

Dosing Options – MDS+ HMI Screens

Dosing Options – Biosafe Cloud Services

Dosing Options – BioSafe Cloud Services

• Remote login capabilities• Can access BCS remotely from desktop or mobile device

• Users will have access to dashboard that will display collected data• Setpoints• Current operating parameters

• Text and email alarms

• Data logging• Trending graphs/data collection from BCS• Custom reports• USB data collection
