Pharmacovigilance: Monitoring of EU legislation

► Case: EU Commission plans “Pharma Package” with different legislative measures for the development of an EU safety monitoring system for drugs (Pharmacovigilance).

► Aim: providing intelligence concerning single contents of the package, its aims, the state of procedure as well as Stakeholders Mapping and Action Roadmap.

5 Liter Containers:Intervention in case of trade barriers and market access

► Problem: a prohibition order of the local German government forbids a German company to sell fruit juice in 5 liter containers.

► Aim: Applicable German law not compatible with EU legislation; submitting a complaint to the DG Internal Market; temporary suspension of the prohibition order and repeal of the German legal norm.
