Welcome ASL 3! Doorbuster- In teams, how would you sign (I will take
volunteers in a minute): 1.“I’m thinking about going to the movies on Friday.” 2.“I really don’t want to stay after school today.”
Goal: no lip movements; eyebrows over Time and Object when signing; ASL Order as best as you can
ASL Order (topic over Time, Object- and sometimes Subject for emphasis):
________t_ _ _ _ _ Time Object Subject Verb
Sometimes ASL Order is switched, and looks more like English- for emphasis, etc.
When signing, try to do ASL order, but it is okay if it is not perfect- communication is the key!!!
