Different types of STS - Cranes• lifting capacity under spreader from 30 to 70 tons• hoist speed with full load from 45 to 90 m/min• hoist speed without load from 120 to 200 m/min• trolley speed from 150 to 240 m/min• gantry speed from 30 to 60 m/min• boom hoisting time 4...5 minutes

Rope Towed Trolley ( RTT) and semi-rope trolley crane / the most commonly used

• throughput up to 30 containers (lifting)/hour (working cycle 2 min for main hoist and trolley)

Machinery On Trolley (MOT) crane• used when a slewing trolley and cab is needed• lifting capacity and trolley speed lower than those of rope trolley cranes• trolley slew 180 degree in 30 seconds
