“DIGITAL COMMUNICATION

RESOURCES OF EDUCATIONAL
ACTORS IN INDONESIA.”

ABSTRACT
• The quality of the processes and teaching output, among others, hasbeen influenced by the nature of the communication utilized byeducators, in particular for the students in both in elementary andsecondary schools. Based on research conducted in a number ofschools in Indonesia, it appears that digital communication usingdigital messages on computers has contributed to the improvement ofthe competence of educators in the teaching process. Since digitalcommunication is one of the elements promoted in the latesteducational policies of the Indonesian government, the teachingadministration has emphasized the central role of online systems oflearning, under the central Ministry of Education and Culture. Usingthe explanatory method in a survey of a number of educators, thisresearch recommends the use of digital visual communication in orderto improve the quality of education in Indonesia, i. e., amongothers, by encouraging educators to improve their ability to use digitalteaching.
• Key words: digital communication, learning resources competence.
BACKGROUND
• The quality of the learning process and the output among others isinfluenced by the type of communication used by teachers in this fieldbased on digital competency for students of primary and secondary levels.
• The result of this study conducted through out Indonesia shows that digitalcommunications had been able to improve the learning outcome.
• Digital communication competence is one of the new policies in theadministration of Online Learning System of the Ministry of Education andCulture of Indonesia.
• In addition, the research done using explanatory survey method to anumber of teachers shows that the quality of learning outcome inIndonesia, including the ability of teachers to develop online teachingmaterials and digital communications, are improving.
AIMS OF THE STUDY
1. To explain the ability of the teachers indigital competence.
2. To find out the indicators of competencepedagogical digital for humanity.
3. To find out the indicators of teachers’knowledge in digital technology

CONCLUSION
1. The ability of the teachers in digital
competence is still focused mostly on
aspects of design and development.
2. The indicators of competence pedagogical
digital for humanity include Source System
, Transmitter, Transmission
System, Receiver, and Destinations.
3. The indicators of teachers’ knowledge in
digital technology include Developing
research skill, Increasing Problem-Solving
Abilities, Learning Through Simulated
Environment, Distance learning, Teachers’
roles.
RECOMMENDATION
• Humanitarian values built by teachers inIndonesia in the coming year should bemaintained.
• Aspect of humanity must be present in anylearning resources based on integrated digitalcommunications.
• The Indonesian teachers must be consistent in implementing humanitarian values in the teaching-learning process.
