Economy• The economy of Russia is the 12th largest

• Russia has undergone significant changes since the collapse of the Soviet Union, moving from a globally-isolated, centrally-planned economy to a more market-based and globally-integrated economy.

Each student have to stand up in the beginning of the class – to greet teacher until he will let pupils sit down.Students also have to stand up each time that any teacher arrived in a room.

Handshake could be used in different situations in the life of Russians. One of them – greeting each other, but as a rule used only by men. Women prefer hugs or just words.

Russians use to drink tea a lot. As a rule tea could go with breakfast, dinner and supper and any kind of desert. Also, when there is a guest in the house it’s a tradition to offer a tea to him.Tea

The first meal is a breakfast in the morning.

The second meal is a dinner. Russian people usually have it after noon.

The last meal is a supper. Could be between 6 to 8 o’clock in the evening.

New Year New Year is a big family holiday, when people get together had a great dinner, listen to the president before the midnight, give gifts and had a party.

Festive cycle preserved in Russia since pre-Christian times. The rite is associated with the wires of winter and spring meeting.

The cycle continue 7 days and all this days people supposed to eat different dishes with bliny (crepes).

• Casual holiday that congratulate men and army. for their honor. Connected with World War II.

• Casual holiday that congratulate all women without any reason. This day also was a beginning for women’s equality.

Victory’s Day. 9th of May

The Day that officially was called the end of the Second World War. Russians celebrate it with big parades, concerts, fireworks.

Knowledge Day1 September – Back to school

• In the 1st of September all students finish their summer holidays and back to school.

• As a rule there is a meeting of all students in front of school. It’s cold “lineyka’ and usually include concert numbers, mistress speech, greeting 1st grade.

A few words about… Moscow is the capital of RF. The city is a global city.

Moscow is the most populous city on the continent of Europe including about 10,563,038 people.

Natural Recourses Nizhniy Tagil has a lot of different

natural recourses, that’s why it’s an industrial city with a lot of plants and factories.

One of the greatest amount of its recourses is copper.

Fact: there are about 30 tons of Nizhniy Tagil’s copper in Statue of Liberty in USA.
