Journalist registration – How to register as a journalist and complete your profile

You are directed to the registration page. You can register yourself as a journalist or blooger with social media or with filling in regular user information with login details.

In filling your information, please be as complete as possible and note that your password should comply withcertain requirements – Minimum is 8 characters with one uppercase and one number. Must contain at least

one of these special characters (@,#,$,%,!,£,+,& or -).

After you have filled in your personal information, you will fill in your professional information

Professional information: For many fields you can fill in more than one option – for the field of interest, you also select all, by clicking the box above. If your represent a media company, publisher, you can select this company from the list. If

your company does not exist in this list, you can leave this field blank and update your profile after registration by adding a new company. Please note that you can only select a company if you have selected as a position, either

"media company“ (usual with info@addresses, "editor in chief" or "journalist/reporter".

You can select the countries about which you write – entire Africa, a region, or one or more countries

After you have filled in all the different fields, you will have to fill in the captcha code (to prevent spam) and click register

After clicking register, you will see the message: Registration Success

You will receive this email in your mailbox. If not, please check your spambox.

If you do not see the verification email, please check your spambox. You activate your account by clicking the link in the email.

You can use your account, if your registration has been approved by the administrator. After approval, you willreceive an email with an invitation to login with the login details you have provided yourself during the

registration.

You can login-sign in with your login details: username or email and password
