Ad Campaigns

We will be looking at ads for sports, hair salons, lotteries and music.

• You will be placed in a group of 4, within that group you will take turns modeling.

• Each of you will be responsible for handing in 1 image per above category therefor you will need 2 models per category.

• You will be using the studio for this.

• If heavily booked, feel free to do one of the above ads outside.

The other ½ will be photographing black and white one last time!

Lighting demo

• A lighting demo will be given for each category together with a strategy.

• Take notes when your teacher does this.

up to separate the talent from

the background.

Lotto Winner Continued

Lotto Winner

• Show the ticket, the front of it.

• Make sure it doesn’t have any sheen issues, no shine, have it show up clearly. Use a shorter lens and/or higher f stop to have both the face and ticket in focus.

• Happy camper.

• Make sure the background is all white, no go bos /beauty boxes in the shot. But use both.

• Male winner, the beauty box with have black sides.

Lotto Winner Lighting – white background.

• Lights in the back should be more powerful than the front key light to bring emphasis to white.

• Both black gobos will cause a shadow onto the person to ensure no backdrop flare.

Music Photography• Unsigned artists – someone starting out.

beauty. Lighter than normal skin tones. Think Japan.
