THE PEGASUS ACHIEVEMENTS
Reciprocal recognition of common quality: the PEGASUSlabels Certificate and A.W.A.R.D. in recognition of anindividual students multi-national experience.
All partners have agreed on a specific curriculum description
format, enabling an immediate understanding of the level ofeducation provided by the partners. The PEGASUS CourseCatalogue has been published (3 edition 2009)
Increased mobility among PEGASUS Partners.
Cross breeding of curricula and new crossed engineeringprofiles generated by the EU student mobility.
Cross-breeding of curricula is slowly taking place during theimplementation of the Sorbonne Bologna 3+2 scheme.

PEGASUS achievements
PEGASUS-Industry Alliance
PEGASUS Council established a body, called PEGASUS-IndustryAlliance, in which the aerospace industrial community and thePEGASUS network are equally represented to discuss all issues relevantto this subject.
The main objective of the PEGASUS-Industry Alliance is to contribute toreinforcement of the European academic and industrial relations formutual benefits.
The basic criteria for selecting the industrial partners are both the size ofthe company and the pan-European dimension of its activities.
Examples of actions so far: Airbus-PEGASUS internships (implemented),Thales Alenia Space PhD program (under discussion), Quality Check ofaerospace engineering programmes (PERSEUS label, implemented).

PEGASUS achievements
PERSEUS label (PEGASUS European Recognition of
Scientific Excellence ofUniversitieS) PEGASUS agrees that a new European system for QA in Aerospace
Engineering Education should be applied for on a voluntary basis and ifpossible should not duplicate existing accreditation systems.
The new system should focus on the qualifications and skills of thegraduates right after graduation, taking into account the requirements ofthe European aerospace sector.
PEGASUS, as the only European network of excellence in AerospaceEngineering education, is able to lay the foundation for a sort ofEuropean society for QA in Aerospace Engineering Education.
PEGASUS, through the newly created PEGASUS-Industry Alliance, hasestablished an entity for developing a quality/excellence label,PERSEUS, including peer reviews and site visits.
First audits for PEGASUS programmes in 2012.
Peer review teams include academic and industrial experts.
