Pareto’s founder, Jeremy Connell brings more than twenty years of experience in commercial,
residential and mixed-use projects. Jeremy has worked extensively on urban, adaptive re-use and
infill developments and has had direct involvement in bringing more than 300 residential units to
market in primarily urban neighborhoods. His work has involved numerous tax credit, tax
abatement and enterprise zone projects, giving him a thorough understanding of the regulations
and requirements of such endeavors. Mr. Connell has also worked extensively to resolve land use
and permitting issues, working closely with local, state and national regulatory agencies to find
the most appropriate solutions for each project.
Jeremy holds a degree in Construction Engineering and Management from North Carolina State
University. He is a veteran of the United States Navy, having served six years in the submarine
service. He currently resides in the Manchester Industrial neighborhood of Richmond, enjoying its
almost daily evolution as a creative, thriving, urban community.
