Why  Moodle-­‐supported  ESP?   à Teacher

• Moodle  is  a  ‘course  management  system’  which  is  adapted  by  the  lecturer/teacher  

• ESP  is  ‘needs-­‐based’  and  the  lecturer  adapts  the  language  instruction  to  the  needs  of  the  language  learner  

• There  are  a  multitude  of  activities  and  resources  that  can  be  ‘embedded’

• ‘One-­‐stop-­‐shop’    – get  students  to  use  Moodle  &  stay  in  Moodle
