2014 Annual Overlay Resurfacing Program 

Project Overview: ES­0495

The 2014 Annual Overlay Program aims to maintain existingstreets to protect the initial investmentin the street and to ensure anadequate, quality driving surface formobility and public safety. Workincludes pavement repair, leveling ofthe pavement surface, andresurfacing with hot mix asphalt.Locations include portions ofHawthorn Road and14th Street,Kellogg Road and Electric Avenuenorth of Birch Street, and the intersection of James and Illinois

streets.  Shared lane markings and porous concrete will be added to Hawthorn Street. Over 2000linear feet of new sidewalk and ADA improvements are included.

The 2014 funding includes about $1,500,000 from the Transportation Benefit District as well asstreet and stormwater funds.

Status ­ March 2015Accomplishments:  Project complete.
