2014 Annual Overlay Resurfacing Program Project Overview: ES0495 The 2014 Annual Overlay Program aims to maintain existing streets to protect the initial investment in the street and to ensure an adequate, quality driving surface for mobility and public safety. Work includes pavement repair, leveling of the pavement surface, and resurfacing with hot mix asphalt. Locations include portions of Hawthorn Road and14th Street, Kellogg Road and Electric Avenue north of Birch Street, and the intersection of James and Illinois streets. Shared lane markings and porous concrete will be added to Hawthorn Street. Over 2000 linear feet of new sidewalk and ADA improvements are included. The 2014 funding includes about $1,500,000 from the Transportation Benefit District as well as street and stormwater funds. Status March 2015 Accomplishments: Project complete.
