Waleed Yaseen is the Outstanding Student of
the Fall 1 Term!
He started IELI at Level 0, and 0 in the
Summer. His teacher, Pat Bull, had to say this
about him: “Waleed is a hard working student
who is also very acve in all the acvies. He
works well with everyone and is always
posive and happy. He is a joy to teach. “
“Waleed’s cheerful personality and eagerness
to make the most of his experience at IELI has
impressed me from the rst day of New
Student Orientaon. Earlier this term, he
stopped by my oce to ask about a eld trip,
and I discovered he had added every IELI event
to the calendar in his phone with reminders of
when he should sign up for each event. Wow! His teacher, Melanie
Sosinski, saw this and added, ‘Not only does Waleed parcipate in
many acvies, but he also does all of his homework and is
prepared for class each day.’ That’s what makes him an
outstanding student,” said Amber Hallberg.
Congratulaons, Waleed, on your accomplishments!

American Home on
Saturday, November 16, from 5:30 PM – 8:30 PM.
