The DREAM-Phil Bowen ALS Prediction Prize4Life Challenge (ALS Prediction Prize) was announced on

July 10th

The goal of the challenge was to predict the progression of an ALS patient’s disease via data mining

The ALS Prediction Prize closed on October 15th

• 1,073 solvers registered to participate

• 37 submissions were received

The winners of the ALS Prediction Prize were announced on November 15th

Due to the range and quality of solutions

submitted, we awarded two first-place teams with a prize of $20,000 each and a second-

place prize of $10,000

PRO-ACT • Merges data from existing publicly and privately

conducted ALS clinical trials• Provides anyone interested in moving forward ALS
