Thecommitteesent25representativestoMexicotoobservethePanAmericanGamesinGuadalajarainOctoberandfortheParapanAmericanGameslastmonth.Thecommitteetherehadtriedandfailedtoimplementdedicatedtrafficlanes.

"Welearnedthattherewasnopreviouslegislationthatofficiallysanctionedtheselanes,norweretheypatrolledonaregularbasis,"Mr.Vansensaid."Thisisanimportantissueforusandourteamasweplanourownstrategyfor2015."

Mr.VansensaidtheToronto2015grouphasasocalled"PanAmTransportationTeam,"withrepresentativesfromtheOntarioMinistryofTransportationandMetrolinx,aswellasfromthevariousmunicipalitiessettohosteventsinfouryears.
