Time is the #1 killer of creativity.

Deadlines, people problems, home problems, baby didn’t sleep, constant interruptions, dog puked on the sofa, flights delayed, laptops crashed, no time, working late, sighSound familiar?

You’re in a right state

• Beta – Busy, tasks, doing, functioning• Alpha – Relaxed States (Exercising)• Theta – Deep meditation and dreaming• Delta – Unconscious/Sub-conscious

• Conscious (beta) thinking only burns around 4-15% of your brain power, yet we spend most of our awake time there…..

T7

There are no speed limits on the road to excellence….

Criticism says more about you than anyone else

T8

Capability/VulnerabilityCentre of Gravity, Main Effort, Critical Requirements

Be Regimented in your approach to your competition

T9

Opportunity EngineeringOpportunities are never lost,

someone will always take the ones you miss….

And here’s 5 bonus points1. The emotional health of the leader dicates the health of the

business (f you’re not 100%, invariably the business isn’t).2. Too little pressure = underperformance/apathy, too much pressure

= underperformance/stress. Optimum pressure = optimum performance.

3. Keep your “WITS” about you. WITS is an acronym for “Walk in their shoes”. (Easiest way to see things from the other side of the table and always consider the other parties point of view if there is a conflict or impasse).

4. Transparency counts for a lot (trustworthiness and authenticity are key).

5. Consistency counts (no consistency, no trust).
