The surface of construction materials treated with liquid do not absorb moisture and is not destroyed by the cycles of freezing and thawing of water, which increases the life of the material.
Water-repellent coating does not change the appearance of the material, does not prevent the normal air ventilation within the construction, reduces dirt retention, and prevents the reduction of heat-insulating properties of the material, resistant to sunlight. The treated surface is not exposed to the damaging efects of mosses and lichens.

Water solution of sodium or potassium methyl siliconate.
For surface treatment (GKZH-11K is applied) in order to increase the useful life of buildings and structures, as the surface treated with water-repellent liquid almost does not absorb water and is not polluted with precipitation. The surface water repellent treatment of coatings is efective within 45 years. The coatings that can be treated are brickwork, wall panels, cement screeds and con-crete, limestone, porous rock, slate, tile, plaster coating.
For volumetric treatment (GKZH-11K and GKZH-11N are applied):
in thepreparationofplaster, cement, concretesolutions, that reducestheirwater absorption and permeability, increases the plasticity of solutions, the strength of plaster and screed, increases frost resistance of the concretes of normal hardening regardless of their composition and the type of binder. in the production of asphalt and bituminous mixtures. The addition of water- repellent liquids increases water-repellent properties of the materials, neutralizes acids contained in them, increases frost resistance of asphalt coatings and reduces their cracking.

EMULSION SE-50/12(analogs Silres BS 1042, BS 5136, Penta-812 (Penta, Russia))
EMULSIONS
Water emulsion of oligo dimethyl hydroxide siloxane, designed for water-repellency treatment of various materials, including glass iber and mineral wool products treated with phenol-formaldehyde resin.
To make glass iber mats or mats of mineral wool water resistant, mix the emulsion SE-50/12 with a solution of phenol aldehyde resin and other additives. If necessary, besides achieving water repellency efect, to prevent the formation of ine dust in the production of glass iber mats or mats of mineral wool, use the emulsion SE-50/12 in combination with ME-50/42. Mixing ratio is 1 part by weight of emulsion SE-50/12 for 3-5 parts by weight of emulsion ME-50/42. In this case, a mixture of emulsions also mixed with a solution of phenol aldehyde resin and other additives.
Since the shelf life of various mixtures mainly depends on the composition of phenol aldehyde resins and additives, it is impossible to give any general advice on their compatibility.
The emulsion SE-50/12 or the mix of emulsions SE-50/12 and ME-50/42 are used in combination with the binder.
The treatment of glass wool and mineral wool with the emulsion SE-50/12 or with the mix of emulsions SE-50/12 and ME-50/42 after drying and curing is not recommended.

forwaterprooingthesurfaceofconcrete, brick, asbestoscementandceramics, gypsum and other mineral surfaces; asawater-repellentadditiveinrepairingresidential,publicandindustrialbuild- ings and structures.

EMULSIONSEMULSION GKE 50-94(analogs Silres BS46; TP 3207)
36
The treatment of building constructions with water repellent can be provided in two ways:
1. Volumetric treatment, i.. in the preparation of concrete, cement or plaster solutions (as an additive 1.5% by weight of the binder - cement or lime), that reduces their water absorption and permeability, increases the plasticity of solutions, the strength of plaster and screed, increases frost resistance of the concretes of normal hardening regardless of their composition and the type of binder.
Introduce the emulsion with mixing water or into already prepared composition if mixed at least 20 minutes.
The studies found that the optimal concentration (commercial product) of GKE 50-94M in concrete / cement solutions is 1.5% by weight of cement. This amount of emulsion allows a minimal water absorption and permeability of solutions. The tests on the concrete F 200300 W 6 - 15 with water-repellent emulsion GKE 50-94 proved that it is required to use 5,25 kg of emulsion GKE 50-94 for production of the sample volume 1 m3.
2. Surface treatment - as a coating for protection of masonry, wallboard, cement and concrete ties, limestone, porous rock, slate, tile, plaster products.
For surface treatment, add one part of water emulsion GKE 50-94M to ten parts of water, stir and cover the surface with obtained composition until the stop of absorption, preventing drips and leaving drops. Apply the composition with a brush or paint sprayer. Repeat the treatment after drying (in 1-2 days).
The consumption of the working solution depends on the porosity of the material and it averages 350 ml per 1 m2.
When the surface treatment protect the surface from mechanical damage, when the bulk treatment the emulsion GKE 50-94 is distributed throughout the entire thickness of building material, resulting that mechanical damage to the upper layers do not afect the water-repellency of the lower layers.
