We are proud of each and every one of the SV students who had the courage to audition for the group. A total of 45 Seneca Valley students were selected for this elite ensemble. The following list represents the students who were successful in the audition process and will participate in the group on December 12, 13, and 14. time and assistance to help get the word out

about the sale – thank you for your help!!

Thanks to all who participated in the Enjoy

to earn significant funds towards their band

keeping things run smoothly!

Many thanks go out to all of our parent

and student volunteers. Thank you to

everyone who set up the cafeteria, served

food, cleaned tables, sold tickets, manned

the basket raffle, made desserts,

decorated, washed dishes and cleaned up

at the end of the night. We appreciate

everyone’s efforts and flexibility. Special

thanks go out to the students who

stepped in to help where it was needed;

many who did so without being asked.

We are proud that our band students

Pasta Dinner & Basket Raffle

The Band Booster’s Annual Pasta Dinner

and Basket Raffle was a huge success! At

this year’s dinner we served nearly 350

diners and sold over $1,200 in raffle tickets.

This is a great fundraiser with the proceeds

supporting ALL of the SV bands and

auxiliaries.

There are many people to thank for the

success of the evening. First, thank you to

our school administration, food services

department and our band directors.

Without their support, we could not hold

this event. The cafeteria cook and

custodian who were on duty that night

were very accommodating to our group

working hard to keep people fed and keep

the cafeteria clean. We are very grateful

that the school makes the cafeteria and

A challenge was issued to the different band sections for the Basket Raffle for this year’s

Pasta Dinner: The section who could create the best themed basket and sell the most

tickets for their basket, would win a pizza party for their section. This challenge pro-

duced some beautiful baskets and sold hundreds of tickets. All of the baskets were

filled with donations from students and band families. Thank you to everyone who do-

nated to the baskets and purchased tickets at the dinner.

This year’s Pasta dinner featured musical

entertainment provided by Lazier’s

Harmony Music Studio. Bruce Lazier was

kind enough to organize the many

performers to provide music throughout the

night. All of Seneca Valley performers are

students at Lazier’s studio. Several of the

ensembles included the students with their

studio instructors. Did you know that last

year 34 instrumentalists from Lazier’s

Harmony Music Studio placed in the PMEA

District Honors Band? Bravo to all of our

Pasta Dinner performers. Thank you for

adding a “touch of class” to the evening.
