"The thing that is most beautiful aboutAntarctica for me is the light. It's like no other light on Earth, because the air is so free of impurities. You get drugged by it, like when you listen to one of your favorite songs. The light there is a mood-enhancing

substance."Jon Krakauer

INTRODUCTION

Football A universal language, and with the help of the FIFA World Cup, it becomes an international reunion of celebration and memo-ries, competition and sportsmanship.

Antarctica An odd location, indeed, but the values would be far more inspiring. Antarctica isn't a nation, as stated in the Antarctic Treaty of 1959, but rather a collection of curious nations set-ting to collaborate with the Scientific Community. A World Cup in Antarctica would certainly face issues, but the solutions would unify, share, and restore to a greater extent with long term benefits.

Science From weather to wind - ice to global warming, Antarctica has become a hub for scientific research, and when mass science meets mass sports, magic happens. It creates a new bond that forms between the sports-fans and science-lovers. It creates endless possibilities. It creates Antarctica 2026

Restoration Global warming seems to be something of a trend currently. Whether or not it is real, it may be better to be safe than sorry. With a massive sports community, scientific community, animals, and the Cup themselves residing on the continent, it's impossible to not feel guilty the next time you don't recycle! After all, you don't exactly want the continent to melt away during the games, killing important scientific and sports figures, alike. Recycled material and renewable energy is part of our grand legacy!

Collaboration A truly international collaboration on politics, funds, tech-nology. Introducing a new lesson on sharing for kindergarten students that can relate, everywhere. Countries uniting on this continent to bring you the World Cup of blended cultures and technology, to show that we shall advance as one into the new future.

OnwardThe World Cup unifies nations in ways that are only restricted to sports. Antarctica, a giant scientific community; the World Cup, a giant international fandom; Combining the two to gen-erate a grand unification of nation with nation, sports with science (and vice versa). A new bond of the most passionate nations/citizens, with the most curious; a dream that uses tech-nology unique to each and brings it together in this new land-scape. A landscape endangered of being melted away, along with the species that call this place home. Al landscape that can provide something more than ice and freshwater. A land-scape full of intelligence, opportunity, and future.

This truly is a new beginning; a frosty, yet new beginning that will unify and restore a new

international dream

'DOME'PROPOSED

INFOBecause Antarctica is technically not a country, it lacks actual cities to perform hosting duties. The solution to that di-lemma is simple: Greenhouse Domes. With our current technology, we as hu-mans have developed specialized domes that are able to control the climate and temperature inside the little boxes (or our case, domes!). We plan to build full scaled domes, with some up to the size of Los Angeles! With the domes, we can create a controlled environment fit for visitors and athletes alike. These large scale buildings will be able to block out sunlight, control temperatures, humidity, precipitation and much more!

PLANNINGEach dome is named after the closest re-search station near it. Each research sta-tion is owned by individual countries that have agreed to partake in this internation-al effort. With their support, each dome closest to each country's station will be in charge of planning said-dome. The dome construction and designing will be a multi-country collaboration of one of the greatest minds today. The components inside the domes will become each coun-try's canvas (shops, hotels, stadium(s), etc) with shared workers, volunteers, po-lice/fire/medical forces that will be scat-tered evenly across the domes. (A united volunteer/service team will be required to optimize visitor and athlete experience, so individual countries will not provide them. ) Because we have chosen countries with diverse backgrounds, expect each dome to be special and unique!

Page 17: Antarctica 2026

TRANSPORTATIONPROPOSED

HIGH SPEED RAILJapan. China. Europe. What do all those places have in common? Bullet Trains. We have some of the international high speed rail capital nations that have agreed to collaborate on the most effi-cient system to unite the 13 domes and 3 airports that this mass of ice has to offer. From planning to construction all of the nations that have chosen to unite on this conti-nation will create the largest mass transportation project involving multiple nations.

Several slight modifications will be made to the system, including:

•Storage car for media crew (that can hold vans) •Special car for athletes and other officials •Long distance section •Extra storage section •Sleeping Car(s) •Lounge/Café Car •Sightseeing Car

AIRPORTS/SEAPORTSThree brand-spanking new international airports and several seaports will be con-structed to accommodate international visitors. (All transportation facilities will be available for local/domestic use, too [*cough* scientists *cough*]).

International Airports: •East Antarctic International Airport (1) •West Antarctic International Airport (2) •South Antarctic International Airport (3)

Seaports: •Each costal "dome" will have a seaport that will be able to accommodate, at least, 100k passengers daily

POWER

SOLAR POWERIn some parts of Antarctica, in a general timeframe, Antarctica experiences pro-longed periods of sunlight. (but do not fear! We have the domes!) We will do our part in saving the environment by using recycled materials, but we will also be taking advantage of the searing sun by using solar power to our advantage.

WIND POWERIn some areas, Antarctica also experi-ences heavy wind conditions. (but again, donét worry! Domes! :D) We will also take advantage and do our part by setting up wind turbines!

HSR, eco material, renewable energy! We are creating a greener generation!

FUNDING

Funding; An issue all hosts face. Before putting two and two together and automati-cally assume éANTARCTICA = NOT COUNTRY = NO TREASURY", please recall that this project is a giant collaboration; A giant collaboration of people, culture, memories, sport, science, and money. With money superpowers such as China, and economics experts from across the globe, this entire project will be professionally managed and funded in a strict schedule with thousands of people involved to create a giant puzzle piece that brings together peace, sports, and unity. And with the help of Antarctica and partners, we can create a new FIFA community based on renewed interest from profession minorities, eco-friendliness, restoration, and a new, greater multicultural bond.

Thank You.
