The Zagada Exchange (ZAX) story was borne of
the mystery of care and business development
(growth) as a practice. Zagada and its
development/design partner MoodStudio is
remarkable not only for its ideation, but in its
execution power.
A mystery that compelled our founders to publish
and develop many studies, tools and applications
to help our corporate business customers grow
and operate with better bottom line results.
Ultimately, though, all our efforts about
corporate performance, pro its and growth,
became totally focused and concentrated in
measuring, analyzing, and delivering this care/
growth double helix as a practical, integrated,
outsourcing platform solution - delivered through
an innovative portal with best in class indigenous
service providers stalwarts and masters, not
in IT, but in contact center and business process
outsourcing (BPO) care delivery.
A ten-year obsession is inally given beta
commercial life in July 2010.
True sourcing innovation, takes a deeper passion,
an exceptional focus, and an extraordinary
determination to conceptualize, design and
execute a simple to use yet powerful sourcing
platform that delivers beauty.
Zagada began its exploration to ind better
solutions for corporate sourcing as an intellectual
enquiry, which ultimately expressed into a
series of questions: How are decisions made,
and how best to choose where to go or who to
use? In fact, our entire work is centered on cost
externalization transaction cost or sourcing
decisioning effectively argued by Nobel Laureate
Ronald Coase.
Could we create a more elegant, ef icient, and
more advanced sourcing sweet spot a stock
exchange like environment with corporate
buyers (buyers), high quality indigenous service
providers (sellers) and access to real time captive
site selection analysis information (market
data) simulated as trades and data subscription
re lected in capital markets models?
We loved the mystery, the thinking, the
hypothesizing, but more importantly given our
current economic times we wanted a pragmatic
solution to help both corporate buyers and service
providers ind each other.

Our experimentation, exploration, and research
took time and expressed itself in many ways and inally the Zagada Exchange vision was realized.
Our ideation and execution made manifest:
2002 : A thought became a company Zagada
founder by Philip Dickenson Peters former Dow
Jones exec.
2003 : Zagada forms partnership with
MoodStudio, a boutique Cordoba, Argentina based
Design studio.
2005 : MoodStudio develops, design and launches
the SphaeroAlliance.com a kind of pre ZAX service
provider branding platform.
2004/2007 : Key concept papers on business
development and outsourcing published:
Tig Protocol, Digital GNP (dGNP), MetaCare,
MetaShare, Service Delivery Production Function
process (SDPF).
2007 : Zagada launches irst global equity
benchmark on outsourcing sector Zagada
Waagstein Global Outsourcing 100 Index with
Standard & Poors (S&P) as Calculator. (www.

2008 : Zagada develops ZaXURS Parallax 3.0as the irst analytics-rating engine for service
providers and site selection.
2009 : Zagada CEO appointed high level
advisor to United Nations Global Alliance for Information Communication and Technology (UN-
GAID).
2010 - January : Zagada and Moodstudioagree on Zagada Exchange (ZAX) joint venture.
Moodstudio writes irst line of code for the
Zagada Exchange ZAX platform.
2010 February : Estuardo Robles hired as ZAX irst executive to head up service provider
relationships.
2010 March : Zagada creates new ZAX ServiceProvider Offering (SPO) scoring methodology
a score modeled on IPO pricing but re lecting
service price quality rather than stock price.
2010 July : Zagada Exchange ZAX full betalaunched with irst Fortune 500 clients and 10
service provider with 55,000 agents/bpo workers
across 18 countries and 25 cites in the Caribbean,
Mexico , Central and South America.
2010 - October : Select IT Outsourcing (ITO)services providers invited to list on the ZAX.
This very moment, the Zagada Exchange ZAX
exists, a realized sourcing platform innovation,
testament to the power of executing our vision of
care.
